I had this idea last year for a program/event/experience called Learning Out Loud.
Unfortunately, I don’t know what the hell it is — yet.
All I have so far is a fantastic name and a bunch of ideas.
So I may as well just start using the damn name and get after it. I’m going to host the first Learning Out Loud live class next week.
The gist of LOL is what the name says it is.
Learning (and working) in public.
Learning about new things — in public.
Learning about yourself — in public.
Working on projects — in public, etc.
That’s what I’ve been doing on my Substack.
Figuring out what the fuck went wrong — and what went right — with me and my business over the last few years.
And since I deleted my IG account a couple months ago, learning how the hell to build this email list without being on social media.
I figured out how to run ads there without needing my defunct @ryanorrico account — and I’m even using Custom Audiences to get my videos in front of the people who used to follow me there.
It’s pretty fucking sick.
So if building an email list without being on social media sounds interesting to you — you should register for the class here.
It’s free for now.
But here’s the thing, I don’t love the idea of going on Zoom and lecturing for a damn hour.
I want to talk to people.
I don’t even like calling it a “class,” but I don’t want to try and be cute yet.
So here’s the plan:
I’m going to make a couple of short tutorial videos that show you my basic setup and what I’ve learned so far. I’ll send those to you ahead of time so you can get started setting up your FB Business Manager account.
Then we’ll meet up on Zoom and talk about it. I’ll answer questions and help you troubleshoot your situation.
Before you ask, I’m not sure if I’m going to send out the recording of the call afterwards.
It depends how good it is.
If it’s really good, I’m not going to send it out. Not for free, at least.
If it’s awful — or even meh — you can have that shit.
But either way, I will send you the videos I make ahead of time to introduce you to the core concepts that we’ll be working with.
It’s gonna be next Thursday at 11AM Pacific (PDT).
I’m not sure if or when I’ll do another one. It depends how this one goes.
So get in on this and I’ll see you next week.
I have another class going until 2:30 EST that day - could I hop on bit late or would you rather people only show up at start?
