there's something to not using instagram until a certain point in the day. I am using the app opal but you can do it without it, but I have given myself the rule of not using instagram until about 5.30 pm and then just using it in one chunk. That way you can get all your stuff done when you're higher energy and then in the evening when the energy dips is the perfect time to use it. Don't want to be a person who checks throughout the day. So I believe this plan of yours will work as long as you truly commit. These apps aren't evil but we have to really figure out how to use them in the right way as they are invaluable.
